Homeschool applicants follow the same admission process as all other applicants. An official midyear transcript must be submitted directly from the homeschool administrator or the organization providing the education materials.
Admission requires a minimum 2.3 cumulative GPA for non-engineering programs and a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA for Engineering and Computer Science programs. Weighted cumulative GPAs are considered in the evaluation process.
Applicants are also required to submit a personal statement. The statement should describe the student’s interest in technology, highlight relevant extracurricular activities (such as robotics, cybersecurity, or gaming), and explain their motivation for attending Capitol Technology University.
