The following outlines the general requirements for first-year applicants: Application Process To apply as a first-year student, applicants must: 1. Homeschool transcripts are accepted and should include appropriate documentation of coursework and grades. 3. Graduate from an accredited high school or its equivalent, such as the GED, HiSET, or TASC. 4. Provide a final official transcript confirming high school graduation or degree completion. Recommended College-Preparatory Curriculum While not mandatory, Manchester University strongly recommends that applicants complete a college-preparatory curriculum, which includes the following coursework:

  • 4 years of English (grammar, composition, and literature)
  • 2 years of a foreign language
  • 3–4 years of college-preparatory mathematics (algebra, plane geometry, advanced algebra)
  • 2–3 years of laboratory science, with at least two from biology, chemistry, or physics
