Homeschooled students are an important part of PLU's applicant pool. Apply via the Common App (free to apply) with a personal essay (250+ words) and official transcripts in any format (course evaluations for project-based curricula). Your homeschool transcript must include a GPA to be considered for admission and scholarships. PLU is test-optional — SAT or ACT scores are not required. One academic recommendation is optional and, if possible, should come from someone other than a parent. Mark CEEB code 970000 on the Common Application to indicate homeschooling.
