Applicant guide

Homeschool applicants to Point Park University who have attended an accredited homeschool agency are subject to the same admission requirements as other first-year applicants. These include submission of the standard application and an official transcript. Applicants who have not attended an accredited homeschool agency must also provide course descriptions, in any format, outlining the curriculum for each course. These documents may be submitted as attachments to the Common Application or sent directly to the university at [enroll@pointpark.edu](mailto:enroll@pointpark.edu). For transcripts to be considered official:

  • If the homeschool is accredited, the transcript must be created and submitted by the accredited institution.
  • If the homeschool is not accredited, the transcript and accompanying course descriptions must be submitted by a parent or other educational administrator (not directly by the student).
