Homeschooled applicants are reviewed under SUNY systemwide policy (Document 344). New York State homeschoolers document high-school completion via ONE of: a superintendent's letter attesting to substantial equivalence; a NYS High School Equivalency (HSE/TASC) or GED; completion of 24 college semester hours as a matriculated degree candidate; a prior earned degree; or passing five Regents exams (8 NYCRR §3.47). Students still of compulsory school age also need a district-authorized Individualized Home Instruction Plan (IHIP) under §100.10. ESF adds no campus-specific homeschool requirements.
