Homeschooled applicants are evaluated using the same admission requirements as students from public or private high schools. The University requires completion of a standard college-preparatory curriculum, which includes coursework in English, mathematics, social studies, natural science, foreign language, and other academic subjects. Detailed information regarding these requirements can be found on the UA Freshman Admission Requirements page.
Students who submit all required documentation—including the application, transcript, application fee, and (if applicable) test scores—by *December 5* will be considered for the University’s larger freshman scholarships. More information is available on the UA Scholarships page.
UA conducts a holistic review of each application. While there is no minimum GPA required for admission, successful applicants typically present at least a 3.0 GPA in their high school coursework. The application also provides space for students to highlight extracurricular involvement, leadership, community engagement, and any extenuating circumstances, all of which are considered in the review process.
