Homeschool applicants: A test score is recommended for homeschool applicants.

Homeschool applicants to The University of Tulsa must submit a completed application with fee, and TU is test optional through Fall 2027 entry (Fall 2026, Spring 2027, Fall 2027); a test score is recommended for homeschool applicants. Required documentation includes an official homeschool transcript detailing coursework, grading methodology, and cumulative GPA, signed by the homeschool supervisor, along with any applicable college or traditional school transcripts and a non-family recommendation letter.   • Application for Admission and application fee
  • While TU is test optional through Fall 2027 entry, a test score is recommended for homeschool applicants.
  • Official high school transcript from parent or home school agency should have the following:
  • List of courses by year, with credit and grades earned
  • Explanation of grading scale or method of evaluation
  • Cumulative GPA
  • Date and signature of home school supervisor
  • Description of curriculum, if available
  • List of course books used (optional)
  • Official transcript of college coursework completed before the time of application
  • Official transcripts from traditional high schools attended and from virtual high schools or distance learning programs
  • Letter of recommendation from an outside source (not a family member) NOTE: Final high school transcripts for homeschool students must have the date of graduation with the signature of the home school supervisor.
